South Korea's Great Birthday Bash! is an episode of the 7th season of Starch Brotherhood: The Series.

Plot[edit | edit source]

Today is South Korea's birthday. South Korea notices there is going to be an iPhone 14 and wants it as her gift. During the party, South Korea opens her last present from Ireland. South Korea starts complaining that she didn't get the iPhone 14 and Ireland tells her it hasn't been released yet.

South Korea then goes to Apple Inc. and forces them to release the phone immediately. Ireland then calls the cops on her for no reason, leading to South Korea getting arrested.

Why It Is NOT a Great Birthday Bash[edit | edit source]

  1. The main problem with the episode is that it is filled with wasted potential for what could've been a great episode. South Korea throwing a birthday party and becoming a gamer was a great idea since South Korea has no personality besides being addicted to iPhones. Instead, the episode is just South Korea complaining because Ireland didn't give her the iPhone 14 for 20 minutes.
  2. The episode is nothing for another torture episode of Ireland.
  3. Most of the characters are unlikable.
    • South Korea is extremely unlikable. In fact, she is at her absolute worst here.
      • As mentioned earlier, she constantly complains because Ireland didn't give her the latest iPhone as her birthday gift, which is the iPhone 14, despite not being released yet.
      • She nearly threatened to hang up Ireland til he officially died.
      • South Korea even wished Ireland to die before New Year's Eve.
      • South Korea even acted like a Karen. She forces Apple Inc. to release the iPhone 14 fast.
    • Ireland, although not as bad, isn't any better. He called the cops on South Korea for no reason, despite the fact that South Korea hadn't committed any crimes.
  4. Most of the jokes are horrible, unfunny, random and cringe including, such as the "iPhone addict and Karen" insult made by Belarus, which is said 138 times. Therefore, it can get annoying later on.
  5. Plot holes:
    • Canada and Poland haven't bought South Korea's birthday cake because they spent all of their money, but how did they manage to get the cake?
    • If South Korea broke her glass, why can't she get another one?
    • In the theaters, why were Japan and Switzerland allowed to watch an NC-17 rated movie? It is confirmed that Japan and Switzerland are 13-16 in the season 3 episode "Belarus and the Idiots" and it doesn't make any sense that they are allowed.
    • How did Japan, Serbia, Spain, and Poland get nice clothes at the hospital?
  6. Ireland and South Korea didn't receive any punishment or karma whatsoever, besides South Korea getting arrested for no reason.
  7. Like most of the episodes, it had South Korea not handling criticism. When her friends told her that she had a terrible personality and should change herself, she gets furious and threatens them to ruin their lives,
  8. South Korea's running gag "Release that iPhone now!" can get very annoying, similar to Belarus' insult.
  9. There are a lot of mean-spirited, random, weird, and disturbing moments, such as:
    • South Korea destroying Ireland's lucky clover by putting it in the barbecue.
    • Ireland saying "Unhappy birthday, South Korea!" after she ruined his lucky clover.
    • South Korea and Ireland going far as saying the word "faggot" to each other.
    • Belarus insulting South Korea over and over again.
    • South Korea acting like a Karen at Apple Inc.
    • Latvia and Canada recording Ireland and South Korea.
    • Ireland almost getting murdered.
  10. There are a lot of filler scenes, including.
    • Japan and Switzerland watching an NC-17 rated movie.
    • Germany and Italy throwing a cookie show yet again.
    • Canada committing murder at random schools.
    • Greece watching w:Squid Game on Netflix.
  11. Terrible ending: South Korea gets arrested for no reason at all, this caused Ireland, Belarus, Canada, the United States, Serbia, Poland, and Russia to cheer.

Redeeming Qualities[edit | edit source]

  1. Greece, Germany, Japan, and Estonia are at least likable.
    • Belarus was also likable at the beginning.
    • South Korea, despite her mean-spirited and immature behavior was also likable before Ireland didn't give her the iPhone 14.
  2. The beginning of the episode wasn't too bad.
  3. Ireland's running gag "Bitchass mess!" can be funny at times.
  4. The episode introduces Switzerland, who is likable, despite that he watched an NC-17 movie alongside Japan.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • South Korea is confirmed to be a teenager, although her age hasn't been revealed yet.
