“To quote my grandfather, "what the actual fuck?!".”
    George Ashton-Milne Jr.

Norm of the North: Pickle Ice Cream Sandwich is a 2135 computer-animated comedy film. It is the 9th sequel to the Norm of the North franchise.

    Plot

Norm finds a talking pickle ice cream sandwich, and decides to rescue it. However, it then turns out that the pickle ice cream sandwich is evil.

    Why It Sucks

    1. The film’s existence makes no sense whatsoever, as even the first film was panned by critics; regardless, it is ridiculous to make 10 sequels to a film, especially one that isn’t good nor well-received by critics.
    2. The animation is still terrible, even after 119 years. They look like something you'd find in an original Xbox game.
    3. None of the characters are likable, and some have gotten flanderized:
      • Norm’s grandfather was originally one of the few redeeming characters in Norm of the North, but now he’s just an asshole who won’t see his grandson on his 10th birthday. Not to mention it doesn’t make sense that he’s still alive considering that he got cancer in the 6th film and the doctor said he was going to die soon, but after not being in the past few films, he is still alive and doesn’t have cancer. Sure, he could’ve gotten over his cancer but this is never mentioned.
      • While Vera was never that likable, she at least was a decent person, but now she’s literally a murderer for some reason.
      • Huno was likable in the previous film, as he was a reasonably kind character, but now he hates Norm for some reason and also thinks that everyone’s ideas are stupid, so much so that he has two well-known quotes: “What a stupid idea!” and “That’s so stupid!”.
    4. All of the jokes are terrible. For example, one of the jokes is “What do you call an apple crossed with a banana?”, and the answer is “Applebanana!” which is not funny at all, just corny and lazy.
    5. The plot is extremely boring and stupid, as the movie is about a talking pickle ice cream sandwich. Seriously?
    6. Even though the film is rated G, there are some inappropriate lines:
      • I don’t give a shit anymore! Leave me alone!” - Use of the word shit, which is a swear word that means feces.
      • Who’s the stupidest ass in the world?” - Use of the word ass, which is a swear word that means anus.
      • You look like shit! Literally!” - Same problems as #1.
    7. The actors do a terrible job as they do in every Norm of the North film, but this is arguably one of the worst acting ever.
    8. False Advertising:
      • The poster has Mr. Greene on it, even though he isn’t featured in the film, nor is he even mentioned.
      • It has Norm wearing a small, yellow backpack, even though in the film, Norm does not have a backpack whatsoever.
      • It has Huno waving from the school bus, even though the film is set in the school holidays, and Huno doesn’t go to school at all in the film, nor is the bus seen.
        • In fact, the only thing related to the school seen in the film is Huno’s half-sister, who despite being Huno’s half-sister, Huno first saw in his classroom because she got lost one day in the past.
      • It has Norm’s great uncle John on it, even though he died in the previous film and is not even mentioned in this film.
      • Olympia appears on the poster in a black oversized suit even though she doesn’t wear it in the movie, and Olympia is barely in the movie.
    9. Similar to the atrocious 2028 remake of Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken, some of the film’s jokes are racist, such as the line “You look like shit! Literally!” that was previously mentioned in WIS#6Q#3.
    10. The film is way too long, as it goes for 5 hours.
    11. The soundtrack is horrible and not appropriate for the target audience, with songs like “Do The Polar Bear” (both the original and the Eminem cover) and “The Happy New Year Song 2.0”.

    The Only Redeeming Quality

    1. Olympia is a likable character and unlike the others, is not flanderized in any way.
