Crystal Monsters: Victor Stadium, known in Japan as Daifushigi Crystal World: Victory Wishes (大不思議クリスタルワールドビクトリー・ウィッシュ Daifushigi Kurisutaru Wārudo: Bikutorī U~isshu) is the 9th series of the anime that aired in Japan from April 19, 2021 to December 28, 2024, from seasons 33 to 36. The English Dub of the series has been streamed on Tubi TV from September 1, 2022 to April 3, 2025.
Crystal Monsters Nexus, known in Japan as Daifushigi Crystal World 2025 (大不思議クリスタルワールド 2025 Daifushigi Kurisutaru Wārudo 2025), is the 10th series of the anime that aired in Japan since January 4, 2025, from seasons 37 onwards.
While Seasons 1-20 (1992-2012) are very well received, and the Souls of Legends (seasons 21-24), Garnet and Turquoise (seasons 25-28), and the Moon Blade (seasons 29-32) series garnered mixed to positive reception, the same cannot be said for the Victor Stadium (seasons 33-36) and Nexus (season 37 onwards) series; the former is universally panned among fans, critics, and non-fans alike; the latter received mixed to negative reception, which is a slight improvement than the former but still performed poorly.
With both sagas receiving negative reception, this is one of the biggest of seasonal rot in Japanese anime history rather than western animation.
